I will stamp all over 'legitimate boxer' Jake Paul - Joshua
The British boxer prepares to battle the American YouTuber in an eight-bout match which will be broadcast in real-time on the streaming platform.
Briton Joshua said he will "stamp all over" the American and "overpower" his opponent as the combatants came face-to-face to publicize the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world boxing king Joshua faces social media star turned fighter Jake Paul - in what is, on paper, a mammoth disparity - at Miami's arena on December 19th.
Boxer's Mentality
"I will injure his face and damage his physique. I aim to demonstrate I'm superior," Joshua, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's how fighters think.
"I intend to genuinely try to injure him. That's what I want to do."
Civil Interaction
In spite of such comments, a calm Joshua and internet personality Paul - typically recognized for his dramatics - were respectful and maintained decorum with each other.
Jake Paul instead criticized former Joshua's rival the Cameroonian fighter and labeled him "a joke" after the Cameroonian turned down a bout proposal.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, at the same time, criticized British rival Fury - and refused a million-pound wager 'The Gypsy King' claims he will make on a victory for Paul.
"[Paul] is better than Tyson Fury - he's actually sitting here," Joshua stated.
"I acknowledge that."
Legitimate Fighter
In spite of stating he plans to damage his opponent, Joshua chose not to comment unfavorably about his opponent's pugilistic talent.
"Jake is a serious fighter," he remarked.

Paul - who first rose to fame on the Disney Channel - has mostly boxed MMA fighters or past-their-prime fighters since entering professional boxing.
He was defeated by British fighter Tommy Fury in 2023.

Still, the novice remains one of boxing's largest financial successes, regularly earning huge earnings.
Forecast and Belief
The 28-year-old predicted a knockout win in the fourth or fifth round and asserted he would stop the highly-expected Fury-Joshua bout, which is reportedly being planned for 2026.
"It's going to be my match with Fury in the coming year," Paul said.

As both boxers participated in the traditional confrontation, with their size difference evident, it highlighted just how unlikely this entire matchup is - and how astonishing it is that the fight is actually happening.
